Don’t forget when buying meat to ask if it’s grass fed AND
grass finished. Some cattle is grain finished in the last few weeks to fatten
the cattle and to settle them before slaughtering. You don’t want any grains to
be fed to your beef.
Even biodynamic beef during a dry
spell, 'lick blocks' are added to their diet which
encourages the cattle to eat the dry grasses & helps them gain the energy
from them.
But, the blocks contain grain
